Looking at types of special needs and other experiences young people have that can impact on their schooling with tips and hints as to how to support these students. EHCPs for behaviour
Bespoke INSET / Training to help bust the myth that behaviour is not a special need and will not result in an EHCP. Aimed at either SLT or SENDCo or both with the aim of making sure students get the support they need in a timely fashion and if needed gain an EHCP to help them stay in the mainstream. Delivered by IET MAT

NLE doing a full day review of behaviour. Either concentrating on certain aspects / year groups. To then advise the school on whole school policy / initiatives to improve behaviour.

An effective “inclusion room”
½ day visit
Are you thinking of setting up an “inclusion room” or an “intervention centre” and what is the difference in approach?
A visit from IET MAT (DE or AS) to discuss what you could do and how you could do it.
Would then suggest some of the above training for people that will staff the room as well as bespoke INSET where required.
